Happy Independence Day! Whatever you have planned for the day, please take some time to think about what it means to be free.
Years ago, the famous artist, Norman Rockwell, illustrated Americans' four basic freedoms. Those are freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. The citizens of many countries around the world would love to have just one of these freedoms. We are blessed with the potential to enjoy all four. Our forefathers put their lives on the line for our liberty and countless valiant soldiers have sacrificed their time and even their lives to maintain that liberty.
Remember, the fourth of July is more than just another date on the calendar. It's Independence Day!
